Dr. Rubio Campal completed his medical studies and residency training in cardiology at the Fundación Jimenez Díaz Madrid, where he was part of the cardiology department starting 1996. Since 2009 he has been Associate Professor at the Universidad Autonoma de Madrid and since 2017, Chief of Arrhythmia Unit at Fundación Jimenéz Díaz, Madrid. He is a specialist in electrophysiology, performing EP studies, ablation procedures for all cardiac arrhythmias and cardiac implantable electronic devices implantation procedures (pacemakers, ICD and CRT devices).

 

As a Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology, Fellow of the Spanish Society of Cardiology, EHRA Gold member, he is a well-respected specialist known for his excellent work in cardiac interventional electrophysiology.
